KILLING NAN 
a short film written and directed by Hana Geissendorfer 

PITCH: Fifteen year old Casey is fed up. All she wants is for her and her mum to have a normal life, but with Nan living with them this has become increasingly difficult. Not only does Nan have dementia and need constant supervision, she has also turned into a rather a spiteful old bag and seems intent on making every one else’s life hell. Casey and her mum do their best to cope with Nan, as putting her into a home is not an option, but with Nan’s increasingly bad behaviour, Casey finds herself imagining other ways she could perhaps be rid of her. 

PRODUCTION NOTE: 'Killing Nan' is a 15 minute short film with shooting scheduled for 2012. We are currently sourcing the financing and looking for people to collaborate with.
